To all the people out there,
How was your weekend? Don’t some of you find it strange that we didn’t have any post these 2 days?
Truth is, all of us are really maxed out. Especially for the sales team. They are running on overtime to ensure that all payments are cleared so that the books can be out on time for delivery. It seems as though that their hands got glued to either the keyboard or the phone. Dark patches linger around their eyes converting the office to panda-land!!
If you happen to receive a call by them, don’t be fooled by the cheerfulness of their voices. These ladies have really put in their hearts and souls to ensure that the back end is functioning. If you haven’t receive their call, then there are two possibilities.
1) you have made payment (like you should have)
or
2) you are on the long list of people that they will be calling up soon (so wait awhile more).
On the Internet side, there should be more things coming up, but no promise as the online team is quite stretched. Thank God they are made of rubber and that they are super elastic.
Check in for more updates,
Pick Me Up Team ; )

I guess you guys would want to know the situation here.
We started out on this project exactly a week ago – write a book in 24 hours, launch it, sell 10,000 copies to raise funds – in 7 days.
In those 7 days, the core team has been working almost non-stop. The other team members spend their waking time here after work and school. Some even put aside work and class just so that they can help drive this mission.
It came to a point where we:
ate when we needed to (after office hours – office hours were too precious to waste!)
slept when we could afford some time (like, on the throne for instance, or at traffic lights whilst driving)
didn’t shower for days
didn’t change for days (probably including under garments but I’m not verifying anything here)
we were too tired to argue with anyone
we were too tired to cheer when food arrived..
…and yet fight for chocolate rations
we’d catch each other staring into space
we’d hear random snores from bodies lying in random corners in the office
we’d fall asleep in the middle of dialogues
we’d hold our pee for the whole day and then remember afterward
we’d do squats while working to keep awake
we’d plea, beg, charm, persuade, argue, enroll people to buy into our cause (just not lie. We don’t lie)
we’d drive to office and forget we even drove
The list goes on. I’d bet every individual has amusing stories to share. In the meantime, we’re considering publishing a second book tittled
“Wake me up”

..is always the hardest, and the most crucial. Its the point where you decide to run with ALL your might, or just give it up.
It’s the moment that makes or breaks our win in the game. Its the moment that goes down in history as an exclamation of victory, or a silent disappointment that we drag along for the rest of our lives. This is the real challenge that tests the power of the human spirit.
It is almost 2pm, and we have another 189 copies to sell to hit the 2,000 book sales mark.
A war cry rang out, and every DROPPED everything they were doing like a hot potato to make a dash for it. It was as if we all understood how important this is, like an army who have their eyes set on one thing, and one thing only.
VICTORY.
